Yeah, I was like "wtf" at that part, cutting through a bone like that with a normal knife doesnt seem right :L
you can probably get beta access anyways. i preordered bf3 for beta access and what did it do for me? 2 days before everyone could join in. not worth it

This pic is from a Russian BF site,and the source is an EA employee,BUT there are a couple of things wrong with the pic(it says frostbite 2 not 3 as DICE are now saying,and it also says PS4,whereas DICE have only said current gen consoles so far).So at the moment its up for grabs.

Mhmm that image to me looks 100% fake. It's just low quality, logos used aren't equal, has the non standard PC logo thing and the text isn't what they would normally use font and effect wise.

Only thing beta will be for is testing stability of server-side software, yet again. I very much doubt they will listen to anyone, they didn't last time they won't change their tune this time around.

It's a shame really because player input is what makes a game better, if the Devs are willing to listen and change things.
I have to give credit to the Planetside 2 Devs, they are great. They listen to what the community wants, what bugs need fixing and what needs adding/changing to the game, and they do it.
They are constantly adding and changing things based on player feedback and recommendations.
They have a 6 month roadmap for the game which you can even vote on what you want them to work on first, as well as provide them with feedback on what you would like to see from what they are adding and if enough people ask for it and it's reasonable they will do it.
If only DICE did this with the BF series, just think how much better BF3 would have been and how much better BF4 would be if only DICE listened their community and had a proper Beta for their games.

This, a thousand times over. Granted I only played it on the 360 (no hope of reaching playable fps on my current system and friends are all console gamers..... for now) but there was just so much wrong with that game. Like the under-map glitches on Metro, their idea of "fixing" it was to disable the destruction effects on the ground. Such a half-arsed attempt imo.
The glare was massively overdone from both the sun and the flashlights.
Suppression effect rendered you completely blind.
Client-side hit detection, favouring higher ping?
Dying when clearly behind cover or around corners.
Spawn-nuking with air-support.
and don't get me started on the USAS with frag rounds pre-nerf :lol:

I did the VPN trick for bf3, and I would advise against it this time around fella.. A) they've wised up to it and B) the people that steal origin accounts have wised up to it and will prolly steal your account using the vpn data stream (not difficult).
It's worth waiting a couple days for it tbh. I'll be pre-ordering later tonight (payday baby yeah)
