I just finish building a computer and when i finished building my display wasnt working and everything was spinning fast and i fixed the problem with the display. And plugged these cords that werent in before to fix the display and after that i turned my computer bak on and my fans graphics card and cpu were not spinning as fast as they were before is this normal?? aslo after i got into my BIOS and went to cpu temp that was at 39 degrees celcius which said 102 and my M/B temp said about 33 degrees which was at 91 i was just wondering is this were normal temps for the cpu and stuff none of the stuff is OC any help would be appreciated thanx.

i had a little question bout this the other cus i had a problem with my display but i forgot the pw to that account but yea thats wat i have installed

Im using the stock cooler before i put those plugs into the 12v connector all of the stuff was spinning fast but now there not spinning that fast

sry but wat cable exactly did u plug into to get the monitor working. if it was a power cable to the gfx card (i.e pci power cord) im not sure but it might be that there is less power or the fans are being controlled but the bios and will only go faster if the parts get hotter. (i cant say for certain though)

umm i plug 2 of them in one was labled cpu 1 and cpu 2 they were on my power supply i plug them into the 12v connector on my mobo but before they were plug in i had no display and the fans were spinning real fast. After i plugged them up my fans on my stuff were not spinning as fast so thats y i was wondering about wat is the average temp my cpu and stuff should be running on before i start using it.

OH those connectors. alright well ur temps are fine but if they get hotter and the fans dont go faster u'll have to get a program like fanspeed to manually adjust them.

My overclocked Q9450 idles at around 27C and the maximum temperature I saw after a 48hr stint of Prime95 was 55C.

If you want to lower your temperatures a bit a great thing to do is undervolt the CPU.

Yea thanx for all the help guys im gonna buy another cpu cooler and 1 or 2 more case fans this week then hopefully it should be good but yea thanx again guys. :)

The Zalman 9700 is a good one to look at based on reviews.

Another option is if you check out some computer hardware sites (Starting with here obviously ;) ) for CPU cooler roundups you'd be sure to find a good low noise one that performs pretty well.

I'm only on dial up at the moment so I can't link directly to one.

X2 on going with the Zalman.

Just be wary if the motherboard area around the CPU is crowded it might not fit. I ran into this problem with my Asus Rampage Formula and went with the Thermaltake instead.
