an expensive board by all means, the p5n sli seems to clock as well from what I can see.
Obviously over 1699qfsb we hit the looser strap, making this board better for higher multi cpu's.
Ram wise for Orthos we have to run the secondaries a little loose, but you guys with X6800's should get some nice fast oc's with this chipset, board wise i have not yet seen evidence of which clocks better, thay are all the reference design really.
The 975 chipset is still fast in comparison, right now I'm working on my 24/7 oc, excuse the secondary ram timings a bit. Cooling is custom SS.

I'm not really a bencher so I keep my settings at a point where I know I can run all my audio editing/gfx software without fear of a hitch due to overtight oc's.
