Hi guys,

After seeing tom said that the i7 970 was with a lower price, I went to my shop to know what price it was, and is a very cool price. Still very expensive too me, but I think it worth it.

To try to conpensate the budget, Im changing all my choosen parts for cheaper ones:

Coolermaster Haf-X for Haf-932

EVGA GTX 570 for GTX560 TI

Memory wanted Mushkin Redline, but not available at Portugal =( I will cry a entire river because of that =(

So I will get the Corsair Cas8 Dominator GT 2000Mhz ( 180€).

Motherboard is the part I have a big doubt.

I have available this 2:

Asus P6x58D-E (220€)

Asus P6x58D Premium (300€)

I was watching the diferences at Asus website, and I only notice the internal firewire connection (I dont need it), at accessories 1 x Optional Fan for water-cooling or passive-cooling only and 1 x 2-port USB 2.0/ eSATA module

So the Premium have that, the other dont. Besides that, whats the diference?? that make it cost 80€ more ( 36% more).

Help me out here people.

Thx.

Possible computer specs:

Asus P6X58D-E

Intel i7 970

Crosair Dominator GT cas8 at 2000Mhz 1.65v

Crosair Ax850w

Collermaster Haf-932

Gigabyte GTX560Ti Oc 1Gb DDr5 ( overclock at Core: 900Mhz, Shader 1800Mhz, Memory 4000Mhz. source: gigabite website)

P.S.: Dont tell me to go for Sandy-bridge, I dont like it!

Go for it man! These possible specs are perfect

I don't like sandybridge as well.... Personally i would get a gigabyte ud3r motherboard, but both are fine....

Cheers!

What cooler are you planning on using?

May I suggest the Asus Sabertooth, or the Gigabyte UD3R V2, as other options. Both of them are cheap and cheerful!

Nh-d14 ofc, and sabertooth doesnt support 2000Mhz memory.

What in the world would you need 2000Mhz memory for? Just have it running at 1600Mhz with tight timings. Also I am pretty sure you can overclock it to those specs. Apart from that, why not buy the Gigabyte?

Maybe the new ones, the guerilha or sniper. I dont know, because its not available yet here, so I dont know the prices.
