I have read the review from the following link, it seems that Maximus IV Extreme is better?

My link

Need some suggestion from you.

Thank you

what GPU are you going for?

IMHO Id buy the gigabyte just on looks. But high end 1155 boards are pointless tbh as pretty much every one will max your cpu out.

If you are willing to spend the amount of money on a motherboard I would choose based on looks, or other features such as PCI-E lanes. Overclocking wise they are going to be the same and you will get about the same results with the Gigabyte UD4 or the Asus P8P67 Pro, unless you are talking about some crazy liquid nitrogen cooling

. So you might aswell save some money and invest it in a better GPU, which is far important for gaming.

+1, Out of those two i'd take the UD7 as it looks great in black

Also unless you're going to SLI or Crossfire 6970/6990 580/590's you will be fine with a UD4/Asus P67 Pro, You won't notice the difference in performance by using 8x for sli/cf for cards below ^^^ Even then the difference isn't noticeable.

Yeah, I agree with the others, go with looks. Well, presuming your gona be able to see it when its finished.

If your going with the red team then the ASUS Maximus IV Extreme is gona look cool with the referance coolers or a few of the ASUS offerings. God, could you imagine how sweet the ARES would look on that board?!

If your going green then I gota say that the Gigabyte P67A-UD7 with a Gainward Phantom or two makes me <insert inappropriate sexual comment>!

I am not that crazy with overclock, as i only know a little bit via BIOS setting. Still thinking to get an AMD 6 series card this time. Any suggestion?
