Well, decided to overclock my new asus 670 top edition, so naturally I downloaded the latest version of asus's GPU Tweak of their website after uninstalling Afterburner. After the install, the programme was laggy in the settings menu. I thought, hmm odd, but carried on regardless. Moments later BAM. Red screen. No blue screen or black screen - red screen. Thought it may be an issue so restarted. After 5 seconds of GPU Tweak booting, BAM. Red screen. Tried this several times with the exact same result. Tried uninstalling it, but there wasn't an uninstaller. "No problem" I told myself, "I'll just use windows" - Oh no. Uninstalling from windows threw an error every time. I had to start in safe mode, and manually remove every trace I could find of GPU Tweak, but still my computer would not have it, It still showed it as installed and threw an error every time I uninstalled it. I have had to system restore to get my PC back up and running, and will promptly be reinstalling Afterburner.
Anyone else had this?
EDIT* 666'th Post!!! MUAHAHAHHAHA
