ASUS Fan Control

Hey guys,

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't ASUS have some kind of an "AI Suite" or something, which you can setup custom fan profiles etc?...

If I'm not mistaken once again, I think that Linus had it in one of his "Silence builds"...

If anyone has a hint of what I'm on about, do you think or know, if it (will) works on my ASUS Gryphon Z97 Armor Edition mATX motherboard?...

Thanks guys!,

You should be able to use ThermalRadar 2 from the AISuite cause you have TUF series mobo. With it, you can assign your fans' location, check the speed and change it if you have PWM fans. For first time run the thermal tuning, it will detect all your fans' specs. You also need to run this if later on you add a new fan or change an old one with a different spec. This will change your current profile, but it's the only way to detect a fan's spec. Anyway, after all fans are detected you can tweak them to get the best circulation and save the profile. Good luck, man.

Themal Radar is a complete PoS software.

three pc setups i have had and all three have the same issue. once you tune the software for your fan setups they run silent, smooth and great. However in my case, if I reboot the pc, I get the message "CPU fan has change. Run the setup again".

I can't be bothered with that crap everytime I reboot it. I chose aquaaero for my fans and pumps now. I even tried saving my own profile for quick setup and would you know it.. it gets deleted each time.

I would use the bios settings for fan setup. Its quite easy once you get used to it and doesnt reset everytime ;)

But that one you can't adjust on the fly, can you?... In the BIOS that is, and also can you even set up custom speed profiles for fans (ie idle = slow, gaming = faster etc)?...

How did you manage to make a discussion out of this , follow the link, download AISuite III, boom OS level motherboard fan control.
