ASUS EAH3850 Trinity specifications and benches released

Sooner than expected the guys at NordicHardware have now posted news of the specifications of the ASUS EAH3850 Trinity 3 core graphics card as well as benchmark results.

Yeah tis a shame.. Its not like they didn't have the thing in front of them. Fair enough chances are that nobody will end up with it but still just for curiosity to see what could be had.

I think the scores looked quite impressive.

Don't know to be honest.. I imagine some games that have been programmed to utilize multi-core graphics solutions would but other probably not.

Seeing as its highly unlikely to be manufactured, we may never know.
 
They'd have to support tri-crossfire surely?

Be good if they did make it.

I wonder how difficult putting something like this into manufacture would be - or if they'd have to get a licence from ATI, it would have to be a proper model number; all graphics cards are built from reference models aren't they?

Was it Asus who made all the GTX boards - other manufacturers just put their coolers etc on?
