Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anybody could help me out with a problem I've been having with my computer lately.

Whenever the computer goes to sleep, and I turn it on, the dubug led on the mobo comes up with '10', and the computer shuts off after about 3 seconds. This does this repeatedly (about 4 times every time), and then it finally comes up and boots into windows. This NEVER happens when it is fully shut off.

I am currently running an i5 3570k @ 4.2 ghz, 8 gb of g.skill ram at 1600 MHz, an evga gtx 660, and plenty of power for it all. Is there any way I can fix this problem?

Thanks!

what OS?

windows 7:
check your power options settings

start- run list - control panel - power - change from "balanced" to power. verify the
advanced options and set to no or 100%.

I am running win 8

I don't think it would have to due with the psu because im running a 1000w on a 500-600w system. I read on tom's hardware that somebody was having the same problem, and another person recommended that they remove a stick of mem., ill try that in a bit.

didnt say you have a PSU issue, you have a possible software configuration
issue. the OS is sleeping/hibernating and something is not re-initailizing to
make the system stable (hence CODE 10). you said "whenever the computer
goes to sleep"...

Ya. I doesn't bother me too much I was just wondering if there is any way to fix it. Ill try to legitimately fix it if I start having issues with stuff on the computer
