ASRock releases motherboards designed to mine Bitcoins

Seems like an odd looking motherboard to me, What type of cards would fit in those slots if they are only x1 and would be able to mine bitcoins ?

The end of the slot is open, meaning you can put up to 16x cards in there. There isn't an awful lot of bandwith though, as the 1x slots are all even PCI-E 2.0 and only the one 16x slot is Gen 3.0.

I like how they use dual slot cards in the advertisement picture while that won't even fit... Afaik, these are standard (thinner) ATX motherboards.

Did you miss the clearly marked and obvious extensions they used in the picture to show that it doesn't fit... ?

I... I may have.

I thought they were just swirly grey thing that indicated where the cars would go, extensions never crossed my mind :(

Do these come with the board?
