Are these temps normal?

Hi I am using an old pc with and core 2 duo e4500 I am running windows 8 release preview and I am getting incredibly low temps around 24 degrees idle and max is 31 degrees I haven't been doing anything really intensive at all. it seems really low to me

does it matter? windows can see that in system info i believe

seem normal for idle, get some burner and see how hot it gets. but OS wont make a difference

Yes. Hardware monitor reported my temps at 90 whilst ASUS Ai suite only just gave me the warning for CPU temps hitting 70

Well, the most important question is: What are your ambient temps? And idle temps are usually quite low anyway.

Could be a problem with the monitoring software and Windows 8, try RealTemp I have found that to be the most accurate from all the ones I have tried.
