I know that there are a bunch of Apple users on here so I thought it might be interesting to start a thread so we can discuss what may be unveiled at the upcoming World Wide Developers Conference.
So far we know for sure that OS X 10.9 and iOS 7 will be given out to developers at the WWDC show due to the following statement made by Phil Schiller in the official WWDC press release at Apple.com
But we don't know much else. A year ago at WWDC 2012 they launched the new Retina MacBook Pro's and based on Intels roadmap Haswell mobile processors will be available at retail from May 27th. A good 14 days before the WWDC show and no doubt Apple would have had Engineering Samples of the Processors and their Chipsets to begin designing refreshed models months ago.
It is generally presumed that updated Haswell equipped Macs will arrive at WWDC 2013.
Many people seem convinced based on the earlier broadcom 802.11ac chipset deal which leaked a few months ago that the new Retina MacBook Pro's will feature 802.11ac networking alongside the Haswell update and a minor GPU bump to an overclocked 750m which would replace the current overclocked 650m.
Interesting fact: The 650m inside the Retina MacBook Pro's is actually overclocked 200MHz and Apple included 1GB of GDDR5 memory instead of the NVIDIA designs 512MB of GDDR3 memory. Making the GPU faster than the stock NVIDIA 660m. Why Apple did this is anybodies guess, price, power consumption, who knows.
Another recent development just yesterday was the widespread reports of dwindling MacBook Air 13" stock at retailers. Usually a sign of an impending product refresh, Apple doesn't like to have old stock available at retail and prefers to have every outlet serving the latest generation as soon as the announcement of a revised product is made.
So to recap this is what is commonly believed to occur at WWDC:
Then there are very loose rumours that there could be a "One More Thing" announcement at the show to unveil a revised Mac Pro. Last year Tim Cook the CEO of Apple told a customer in an independently verified email exchange that this year they would have a revised Mac Pro.
It is possible this time line has been set back but WWDC really is the most likely place to announce such a revision due to its audience of developers. This rumour is assisted further by the fact that Apple plans to bring an existing desktop Mac to US shores for manufacturing this year. The Mac Pro is the largest and heaviest Mac system that Apple sell with thousands of possible build to order configurations making it the most likely candidate for US construction.
So these are the announcements that are expected and some of them are more likely than others. What do you think we will see at WWDC and more importantly what do you want to see?
Personally I just want a revised Retina MacBook Pro as I intend to buy one to replace my ageing MacBook Pro.

“We look forward to gathering at WWDC 2013 with the incredible community of iOS and OS X developers,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “Our developers have had the most prolific and profitable year ever, and we’re excited to show them the latest advances in software technologies and developer tools to help them create innovative new apps. We can’t wait to get new versions of iOS and OS X into their hands at WWDC.”
