Anyone remember the treasure hunts?

Yeah sounds like a great idea!
And if you put them in videos, actually put them in physically don't edit it into like 1 frame, that would be a bit harsh! :)

Seems easy. I could just download every image on the domain and browse through them.

BRING IT.

That'd be cheating mate, kinda noobish.
Also won't help you when its in a video.

I'd be up for a competition like this but its people like this and things like Google's new image search function that will ruin this type of comp if the pic is on the site itself :(

Also wont help when you need the URL of the PAGE not the image ;)

Seem to forget we have done this before......

It was a joke. I likely wouldn't enter a competition like this anyway.

Finding the URL where the image is posted would be simple though. Only problem would be going through the images itself, which would be a long task anyway.

I think the idea is for those that are willing to take that effort. There are plenty out there willing. Whether or not they're ready and able to at the time is another subject. Much like the other contest going on.

Reading through some of the posts in the previous treasure hunt thread- it looks like it's one heck of a self-torture, skimming through hundreds and hundreds of pages :D

But the prize was worth it I guess

Sounds like fun, and a TTL video feel could be interesting.

ie. watch this 3 hour TTL documentary on dust, and note down the times when he meantions pineapples and shows a picture of a hamster.

hehehe
