Anyone know a decent Laser-cutter in the UK?

I really want to replce the front of my X-Fi but after trying this myself with a dremel (and a lot of effort) it seems I suck and I give up.

Anyone know a good one?

Considering the terrible* tool you used its not THAT bad.

You tried doing it all by hand? What material did you use? looks like a Lian Li bezel?



*id like to point out the dremel isnt generaly terrible, just for accurate work.

You have no idea how long it took to make either. I tried to measure it all up and it didn't damnwell fit

It was all done by hand and it IS a Lian li Bezel as it fits 100% perfect on the X-Fi front

EDIT: In my defence that X-Fi etch is pretty damn good IMO

When i was making CrossFlow I wanted to have someone cut the word Crossflow into the top, they wanted $90

I now make my own.

if u have another bezel u could just use different bit sizes and just drill them.

I take it u`r doing this for a mod rather than u`r XFi one is knackered.

If it was just coz it`s knackered, I`d eBay up a Drive.

yea and the X-fi Part was done well but couldent you put it in a clamp and drill out the holes or if you got the facilitys find someone with a cam machine and ask them

lol I know no-one with a cam machine.

I've asked Kustom to see if they can cut a new one for me, respray is not an issue as a replacement bezel is £5 only.

My drill has now died too I should really get a work bench but there's no-where to store it.

Well I just checked with Kustom PC's and they say it would be prohibitively expensive, but I will try Aqua PC's
