Anyone have a Logitech G27 wheel here?

Hi guys,

Anyone have a Logitech G27 wheel here?

I really love the look of it but I'm finding it very hard to justify over 200 quid for a wheel.

Is there anything else perhaps without the clutch and shifter to save on cost which is as good?

I do love the quality pedals and shifter on the G27...

Will be for PC use only.

Last question is do you think the price will drop as with most hardware in the future? No rush to buy one really, can make do for now.

Price will most likely not drop anytime soon. The G25 (its predecessor) cost just as much and there are no competing products being released anytime soon. There are the fanatec wheels but they are even more expensive. If you want one, get one

Haven't been on the forums for a while so looking through my topics...

If anyone is borderline on getting this wheel or not - just buy it if you like driving games, the wheel is awesome and as with all Logitech products very well made!

Used mine everyday since I got it!

You won't find ANYTHING with quality close to the G25 and G27 without a clutch and shifter. The quality on the G25 and G27 is simply unbeaten IMO. Trust me, if you get a G27 it will be well worth it. And look around on different sites. You'll see that there's a huge price gap between different sites. I found up to ~£35 difference from a well known online retailer to less known online retailers.

I've been wanting to buy a G27 my self, but the people on Finn (It's like the Norwegian eBay) are total assholes. They never bother taking their ads down so when ever I contact someone with a nice deal the racing wheel it's already sold.

I have a G25, it's one of the most awesome bit of kits I own

What'sd the difference between the 25 and 27 ?

G25:

G27:

G27 has more buttons on the wheel, although the shifter cannot go from h-shifter to sequential which is one of the high points for me on the G25. I don't know if there is any difference internal though.

Pedals have better spacing, other than that the pedals are the same I think.

Wheel has more buttons (trust me they are useful!), LED RPM lights, shifter feels more positive and the paddles have been improved.
