Anyone got a Antec 300 Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case?

I'm planning on buying one for a folding rig i have planned and might throw 2 6950's in it when i get my gtx 590.

Its pretty cheap, and so would be great to find out your opinion on the case before i take the plunge, also does anyone know if it will fit two 6950's in it?

Thanks

Those 6950 are big,and the antec 300 is a small case, dont think they will fit.And you need to buy additional fans as well.

Maybe a cm haf 922 or cm 690 ii advanced. They are not that expensive.

Id certainly advise against the 300 mate, decent enough air flow if you buy enough fans for it but it has poor cable management.

Whats your budget for a case and we can spec you something a little better

The max length for a video card is 11". The 6950s would "just" fit.

I own the 300 (and have two 6870s in it). I bought it because I really like the way it looks and because it's relatively small compared to other mid-tower gaming cases. The cable management isn't great, but that wasn't a concern for me. "OC" doesn't mean obsessive compulsive for me... There is some space for cables at the back of the harddrive cage (enough so that you're not impeding airflow from the two front fans). Note that the newer 300's have a cutout in the back for heatsink swapping.

Eh about 60 quid mate, yea would be great to find a case for < 60 pound that can fit big graphics cards and have decent cable management as the antec 1200 i bought has really poor cable management.

Well, unlike the 1200, the 300 doesn't have a window so you can't see the cables.

I've been building PCs since the 90s so I'm just happy I don't have to deal with PATA cables...

Point Taken, it's for a folding rig so i guess the cable management doesn't matter as much as my pc.

Will take a look at some more cases on the net now but i will prob end up buying the 300 because of the price.

I can speak from past experience that the 300 isn't bad, but there's no real support for cable routing, but it will fit a GTX275 which is a ~27cm (10.5") long card. Much longer is pushing it due to the fixed 3.5" bays i'd say.

Hey thanks for the link, that's a very nice case.

Did u say space for 11 gpu's? That's pretty beast considering its under 50 pound.

Will let you guys know what i decide on buying l8ters.

Thanks for the help

haha no, 11 inch GPU's according to the description

Decided I'm going to order it tomorrow, is the website you linked trusted? I always shop @ overclockers uk but couldn't find the case on they're site.

Cheers

A number of OC3D forum members are on the Aria forums too, very trusted company

You will struggle to find anywhere cheaper that has customer service as great as thiers

if the 6950 are bigger than 5870,forget the antec 300,it has better airflow than other mini-mid tower cases, but you will not be able to fit thoes in it
