So my mate (NTXlaser) purchased an Antec 300 for a build he's currently working on for his dad and noticed something different about this particular 300... apparantly it now features a CPU backplate cutout!
To me it looks a lot like the cutout of the Antec 200..
My apologies for the image quality, they are simply some quick shots my mate made with his HTC HD2.
However, the point is... I've never seen this feature on a factory Antec 300 before..
The Antec website doesn't mention it and on their pictures it doesn't have a CPU backplate cutout...
Oh and if you're interested in what the final specs will be...
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
MB: Asus P5Q Pro
Mem: 4GB GeiL DDR2-800
GPU: ATi 5670
PSU: Be Quiet! 530w
HDD: 2x 500GB Samsung Spinpoint F3 RAID1
Case: Antec 300
CPU cooler: Prolimatech Megahalems
Any thoughts?
