I liked season 1, but season 2 kind went downhill.

They moved from the manga and made their own story after season 1, which kinda ruined it IMO

I really like it, the characters you meet later on in the show more them make up for the slow start, if you get the chance watch these two shows "Excel Saga" and "Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan"

i use hola to get american netflix and i have watched 2 episodes of kill la kill. oh my. i do not understand this at all. why is everyone naked. it seems like the sort of anime that our resident FAP lord would love. i watched knights of sidonia on netflix aswell. it wasnt bad. short season. kinda gundamy a little due to the giant mechs but. i loved bleach and am about 350 eps into one piece. that show is ace.

I don't know the first thing about Anime. The only ones I've seen are the typical ones everyone watched: Fullmetal Alchemist, FMA Brotherhood, Attack on Titan, Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate, Deathnote and Neon Genesis Evangelion...

Unfortunately I am very bored and due to summer-pause there's nothing else on TV so any recommendations on Anime would be greatly appreciated. Currently Watching Black Bullet, but I'm having a hard time finding english dubbed episodes online. (Unfortunately there's no good legal market for Anime-Streaming in Germany)

Claymore - Not as good as the original manga version which really kicks off approximately where the anime ends.

Ghost in the shell - 'The cyberpunk' movie along with Akira that made anime popular in the west.

Patlabor 1 & 2 - If you don't mind a good story over action, the only action is in the beginning.

Grave of the fireflies - If you think you're tough enough! (And DON'T watch the English dubbed version!)

And...

3-Iron - Obviously not anime, but one of my favorite movies just because it's not like any other movie.

Just a few 18+ animes (I'm not joking guys, really I'm not)

"Elfin Lied" it's not SciFi but one of my favs gore, gore and more gore, this anime does NOT hold back at all (why i love the show) this is an easy 21+ just for what you see and how dark this show gets, you have been warned..

"Gantz" if you haven't seen this dark little number, then brace your self for some of the most f**ked up shows i've seen...

"Blood-C" when someone good never gets it right, the brown stuff hits the swirly thing. it starts off a bit slow but after a ep's in your like wtf have i just seen...

"Deadman Wonderland" you think the inmates locked up in prison in the USA and Russia have it bad, just wait till you see this messed up anime....

Agreed. Can you imagine how some of the more popular anime's would have been if they were 18+? Or even if they weren't censored?

Animefreak.tv has bleach listed as 13+....

I'm going to be really really sad if it's 18+ somewhere...

it's 13+ remember anime gets a lower rating because it's not real at all....

so 13+ if done a a show on tv it's going to be 16/17+
