Anime Thread

I've only seen Gantz out of those. So Blood C is on the top of my list now.

Edit 1: Btw. it's really shocking how well of a soundtrack the Album "American Capitalist" by Five Finger Death Punch is for the DxD Light Novel series. (Not that it's intentional, but the music just perfectly fits the scenes)

Edit 2: OK watched Blood C now. The Anime is really good, but the Movie was very average...

Edit 3: The more time I have to think about it, the sadder Blood-C becomes in hindsight. It truly is a very dark story. :(

Edit 4: The new Sword Art Online S2 episode is quite good actually!

yeah i didn't like the movie much too....

have a look at "Shiki" and tell me what you think?

also for you ecchi fans out there have a look at "Heaven's Lost Property"

i saw a trailor for a wierd anime but cant remember what it was called but basically a boy like a girl but she turns out to be a creature who has to eat human meat as normal food doesnt taste good the her, but any who they both have an accident and her organs get implanted into him

sound like an old henti lol :p

I wish I could watch the streamed Anime at 2x speed... I already watch YT Videos at 2x because it's more time-efficient, but that doesn't work in most other places :/

watching kill la kill again. its the anime equivalent of dead or alive bikini beach ball. its seriously pathetic that the character design is the way it is. who watches anime to perv. does my bap in. it the uniforms made sense it would be so much better

I think the uniforms are part of the appeal. Without them being so ridiculously over the top, it wouldn't fit very well with the otherwise ridiculously over the top Kill la Kill

I just started reading Sword Art Online Volume 11 (Light Novel)
Next will probably be Akame ga Kill Anime and afterwards the Log Horizon Light Novels.

OK, currently halfway through Volume 12, but unfortunately I had to go to work by now :(

Edit: And the series is still ongoing... Volume 13 is fully translated and Volume 14 halfway, but volume 15 (still the same story arc) was just released a few days ago and nobody even started translating that... This will be tough :(

On an unrelated note: It says "OC3D Crew" below my name, did I get that for making 500 posts? It sounds strange to me, it appears as if it would imply that I'm part of the staff...

finished kill la kill. it was good. silly but god. pretty sure it is a one series thing though because of the way it ended. gurren lagaan is on netflix so ill check that out next. mechs. you cant go wrong with mechs. im actually surprised netflix have increased their anime roster significantly recently. reath note ive watched a few of those but it scares my sis lol.

OK, finished Volume 14 as far as it has been translated by now.
I have to say SAO is really entertaining! I can really recommend reading it yourself.

That's the blog of the guy who translated it so far. As the first official volume is already available for purchase, I'd recommend doing that if you've not watched the Anime. If you did, you can skip until volume 4 I guess. Volume 5 + Volume 6 are the GGO Arc (Anime Season 2).

If you liked the Anime, you'll definitely enjoy the light novels. Especially the Alicization Arc is very good.

Well now that I'm finished with that, next up is Akame ga kill it seems.. Let's see if it's any good ;)

The guy doesn't have all translations on the site, only from 11 onwards. So to read the other ones, you'd have to use different means...

I won't say exactly how, but I'll give you two hints: It has to do with baka-tsuki.org and a certain time-machine.

OK, I didn't know Akame Ga Kill was still ongoing :/
Watched it till the final released episode but that means I've got to add another Show to my weekly watchlist ;)

I thought I would need some time to watch something, but after only 6 episodes... Anyone got another anime thats similar to Akame Ga Kill (A nice gory / dark one)
