Android Default e-mail app question

so guys I've been off android for some time now, and the last android phone I had was android 2.1 but anyway.

I recently got the new nexus 7 gen II (sexy tablet btw :) ) and it's been working wonders buy I have a question for some of the more seasoned android users. the default e-mail app ( I prefer to use the default one for the sake of widgets ) doesn't seem to have an option to show e-mails in conversation view, its nothing major but having tons of single emails of the same thread of these forums gets kinda annoying. Is it there or am I just missing it?

ps. any must have apps and games for android are greatly appreciated too, windows phone is way to limited on apps so I am still very fresh with the availability of apps :)

thanks in advance,

To be honest I'm not 100% which one is the 'stock' app.

On the app I get Hotmail through, that option is there on my galaxy s2 phone running 4.1.2. Hit the menu button, view mode, conversation view.

No particular must have apps for you. I really just check emails, browse Web (on Opera classic, I've been using it since my Symbian phone), flip through flipboard and play the odd game of DragonPlay Texas Holdem.

Oh, one tip, have a look at SwiftKey, my favourite keyboard.
AstroFileManager is good (not perfect, but good)
Also, I use NovaLauncher to replace Samsung's touchwiz, but I suppose that's not necessary for you.

Not so far as I'm aware there isn't, no. I don't really like the stock email app, the scaling and stuff is a bit rubbish.

Have you considered using the gmail one instead?

yes, I tried to use the gmail at first but both email accounts are hotmail so they weren't syncing correctly.

I'll take my chances and maybe send them an e-mail and hopefully it will be included in android 4.4, I know they probably won't even read the email, but I'll take my chance :)

hehe, fair enough :)

There's loads of email apps on the store, don't forget you have 15 minutes to try the apps and if you don't like them, you can get an instant refund/cancel the transaction.

This isn't the stock app? (probably a Samsung modified one I suppose)
