AN8 Fata1ty

Wow that is one sweet motherboard.

Maybe when i get an AMD system i'll look into that one ;)

I will be loking towards an AMD 64 system next year after I tire of my present AMD XP 3200+ Barton system. I'll sell up and go for one of them.

Hopefully dual core 64's will be out by then so I can go PCI-E (and SLi) and AMD 64 dual core as well!

Looks sweet as hell and although I've seen abit before I have never been sure of them. I will certainly consider them even considering the slightly higher price.

ASUS are always tempting tho, solid mobo's!

Abit are just like Asus really. I've had about 8 Abit mobo's, both intel and AMD based and they rock! No probs what so ever :)

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe is terrible MBO and you will buy it just if you want punnish yourself

minus

- bad compatibile with all memorys

- Vddr does not work how it shoild be over 2,85 V

- V Core very unstable and becouse of that mbo is unstable

- bad overclker

- integrate controler knows do disapire

- Using of NCQ producing crashing od whole system

- not compatibile with some dvd/cd rw

- very expensive mainboard

Main problem is that asus came too early on market with this mainboard, alsa asus never before had experience with nForce/S939 combinbation so they didnt know what is waithing for them.

This mainboard sucks on all testing. If you buying MBO my sugestion is DFI LANParty UT nF4 SLI-D at the moment best MBO in that family :worship:

I would go for either the DFI board or an Asus board really.

Oh, and if I was going Intel/AMD 64, then it would be AMD 64 every time for me....but then I'm a gamer! :o

Rumor has it that the AN8 Fatal1ty boards are a waste of money and sperm...

They make use of an "auto overclock" feature that really caps the limit to a good tweakers overclock.

They also have super weak voltage adjustments which is what overclockin' is all about. There are some much better boards on the market for us overclockers than the AN8.
