I just stumbled across this-
http://www.extreme.outervision.com/flowdesigner.jsp
I think ^^ if it were further developed could be a great tool for attracting new members to OC3D. It would be a great way to bring those just starting out in the watercooling/overclcocking world to us.
It would have to be heavily developed of course. To be amazing you'd have to include:
-Different cases(obviously only those designed for water),
-Different Motherboards + option for blocks,
-Different graphics cards + option for blocks + number of cards + what PCI-E slot that card/s are seated,
-Number of rads+Sizes+locations with in case
-types of reservoirs+location
-Pump type+location
-tube type(rigid or flex)+Size
-Preference between Barb or Compression fittings
-the option to select if they'd like to use other fittings like angle's, quick connects etc
-And even ram types+Number of sticks+blocks(only would be needed if they were to cool their ram as unlikely as it is)
Have all pre-defined options and once fully selected it come up with a diagram like the one in the link above Showing TTL's/OC3d's recommend layout plus a list of quality parts used and recommended by TTL/OC3D even with links to the reviews of the parts.
Well yea just an idea that i had, Probably unrealistic tbh as it would take a heap of work to develop something like that from scratch.
