An Idea for TTL/OC3D!

I just stumbled across this-

http://www.extreme.outervision.com/flowdesigner.jsp

I think ^^ if it were further developed could be a great tool for attracting new members to OC3D. It would be a great way to bring those just starting out in the watercooling/overclcocking world to us.

It would have to be heavily developed of course. To be amazing you'd have to include:
-Different cases(obviously only those designed for water),
-Different Motherboards + option for blocks,
-Different graphics cards + option for blocks + number of cards + what PCI-E slot that card/s are seated,
-Number of rads+Sizes+locations with in case
-types of reservoirs+location
-Pump type+location
-tube type(rigid or flex)+Size
-Preference between Barb or Compression fittings
-the option to select if they'd like to use other fittings like angle's, quick connects etc
-And even ram types+Number of sticks+blocks(only would be needed if they were to cool their ram as unlikely as it is)

Have all pre-defined options and once fully selected it come up with a diagram like the one in the link above Showing TTL's/OC3d's recommend layout plus a list of quality parts used and recommended by TTL/OC3D even with links to the reviews of the parts.

Well yea just an idea that i had, Probably unrealistic tbh as it would take a heap of work to develop something like that from scratch.

It would be a great idea to help visualise and design loops on-forum but that would cost a lot money and time for something which I don't personally think it's worth. This is from my point of view of course.

Yeah as i said it was a thought I that was worth sharing but I knew it was probably unrealistic. The only way I could see it happening is if TTL got one of the major watercooling parts suppliers like EKWB or XSPC to sponsor the development of it or even a large online computer parts store that sells watercooling gear. In a trade off for recommendations of their products with links to the products on their sites.

It really would set OC3D apart from the crowd even more then it is already.

Your asking for a lot dude, would take a crap tonne of work and resources too. So many animations etc, and that is just if it is basic. This is without all of the case checking etc, too many cases have "watercooling support" but can't fit a decently thick rad. I doubt it would be worth it.

If a big supplier made it, great for them. They wouldn't give it just to us though, they would put it on their own site.

Definitely not going to happen. Recommending products for money would hurt his integrity a lot, it would pretty much make the kind of videos he makes pointless.

True. I didn't look at it from that perspective. His brutal honesty about stuff is part of TTL's/OC3D's appeal.

Yea i can completely understand what your saying. It was an idea clearly only have thought through, I didn't truly take the logistics into account which alot of the time is a maker or breaker of great ideas.

If only i had the skills required myself id do it for the fun of it. But unfortunately i dont...

the enormity of the task to make something like that great with leaving anything out is probably why the one linked is so badly under developed.
