Depending on whether the rest of your rig can cut it 980ti 1070 or 1080 depending on the price.

my rig is a xigmatek elisyum a sapphire am3 motherboard 8gb ram amd phenom x4 810 arctic extreme cooler at the moment i have a OCZ 600w i haved an Asus GTX 560 nvidia but i haved a problem with the drivers and when i have put the 4870 in my case the problem is vanished !!!

1440 wise you could go 1070 £420 for FE or R9 390 or R9 390X the 390 is £199.99@OCUK and the 390X is £249.99. For RX 480 the Sapphire nitro is coming out in a couple of weeks priced at £249.99 but I would wait to see the reviews first to see if its 1440 capable.

I have a Sapphire R9 290X Vapor X 4GB and I game at 1440p with no issues in current games i.e. DOOM GTA5 etc

EDIT: Change that PSU ASAP OCZ are known for popping and taking your components with it ;)

yeah my PSU has 7-9 years also PSU i have think at seasonic X750w or corsair HX750i platinum or is better another brand?
And for 4k?

For one Graphics card 750w is ample for 2 at least 850 but it depends on the TDP of the cards you are using :). I have a Superflower Leadex 750W in my rig although I could have gone 650 but I like the extra headroom ;)

It is but I would recommend going with one more powerful card as crossfire/sli can have issues in games ie not being supported by the Devs ;)

I am currently in the market to upgrade my graphics card and it looks like I will be buying Nvidia this time round i'll see on Tuesday but the 1070 is winning it for me at 1440P atm.

Kinda sounds like you need to upgrade your whole rig. That's some pretty old tech you're running. If you're looking to game at 1440 you'll obviously need more GPU power but you're also gonna want more CPU horsepower as well. That nearly 10 year old Phenom will get the job done I suppose especially if you've got a hefty overclock on it but I think you'd enjoy it a lot more if you has a brand new i5 or something like that to go along with it. Hell even a 8350 like mine overclocked to 4.6+ would be a big upgrade and get you a lot more performance out of whatever new GPU you go with.

As for the 480, with this apparent problem with the PCIE draw, I'd suggest waiting for AIB models that'll have an 8 pin or two 6 pin connectors.

:) glad to hear it we all recommend everyone to have a quality PSU. When you are throwing £250 - £400 at a graphics card you wouldn't want a cheap PSU to potentially blow your system and kill it ;)

Tolemac xfx is a good brand or i must see other brand?

I couldn't really say about them TBH these days although I had an XFX 650W core Edition about 4 years ago. I think it was only bronze rated whereas my Superflower is Gold rated. Maybe one of the other forum users can help you with that but I would rather have a Corsair or Superflower in my rig :)

As above OP, Got a black PSU still going strong after about 4 years now. Seasonic is one of the best.

As for changing the fans. Yes you can, however it wouldnt be worth it unless you are replacing a dead set.

You can't change the fan brand, but you can swap in new Sapphire fans. So you can get an extra set, paint them and what not if you like. There are tons of possibilities.
