My biggest concern with the ATI camp is the stability.
Now I know users of these cards will assure me and every1 that the drivers and utilities are alot better and things run much better now because of them.
But the simple thing in for me, I chuck in a 8600 card (from any manuf so it seems) install the drivers - and I have nothing left to worry about - gfx wize.
They talk about the 8800 and 3800 being cheaper, but in all honesty, if the client can`t afford the likes of an 8800GT, I immediately look at a 8600GTS or similar.
Convince me that the drivers/utilities give the same stability and so forth as with nVidias, and I`ll try one. Last thing I want is to keep going back to some1s pc cos of issues. Couldn`t really care if they brought out a 3895 card that spanks a GTX, I`m not interested.
All imo.
