Are you looking at an internal or external reader? If internal just make sure it has the mobo usb dongles, some card readers have standard usb dongles that require u to route a long ass cable through your case and out the back of your computer (I got jewed with one like that on my current rig and it blows ass).

so the one im lookin at in the link i posted, its says card read interface: usb 2.0 Pass through. so i take it that is what u mean by one that u have to run a long as cable?

Id go for that if i were you. Akasa Seem pretty good to me. Nothing really alike, but i have a HSF from them and its dam good quality.

I got one of those two, I cut my hole for my fillport a little bigger so the usb cable comes right out :D

about a year later and i finally ordered the one from akasa

Good choice mate. You don't need all the crap that the Sunbeam has, u'll never use it, trust me. I had the same exact one in black and I only used it for the card reader. Hence with this build I used THIS. Great reader, internal USB headers, and it was only 13 bux :)

finally got this installed today, it is very nice, but when i put my microSD/Transflash card in and i try to copy music to it...it wont let me says it is write protected?? kinda havin a brain fart, is there something to get rid of that?? and also wont let me delete pictures cuz of it too??

ya there was a lil' switch on it that said Lock and i figured that was to lock the micro card into the transflash card so it didnt fall out but i was wrong it was the write protection thingy
