Airsoft - anyone play any?

yea they do some paintball guns that look realistic but not to scale, and tbh the paintball guns that look like an m4 or an mp3 suck @ performance wise and at the prices they sell em at u could get an angel w/custom barrel. h/e paintball in is by far more expensive in short/long run by far.

I used to airsoft all the time, brilliant fun! I actually owned the gun that Llwyd linked to earlier, the P-90, funnily enough.

One of my friends was really into it and had a sniper rifle, he wasn't allowed within a hundred yards of us while he was using that. It was pretty sore.

do people in the UK play paintball or is that considered a more American sport/hobby? btw paintball hurts/leaves 10x more. leaves welts the size of a penny to a quarter.

Yeah we do paintball too, I prefer airsoft tbh. Feels more like you're actually hunting people down. I actually found airsoft more painful, paintballing is more one or two hits that hurt where as airsoft you can have an entire mag of bb's fired at you in less than a minute (plus like I said before my friends sniper rifle was ridiculously powerful!).

I have witnessed some nasty cuts caused by BBs. The site I vistited up nr Nottingham had a load of Pyros too...one lad had some moderate flash burns on his face after the enemy tried to flush us out of our HQ with a flashbang! We stood firm and PWNED!
