After the impossible HDD

I'm chasing a new HDD for my computer, not really looking at any thing over about 750GB...But here is the catch, I need a Fast and quite HDD, and the cheaper the better.

And would it be worth my time getting 2 and running them in RAID 0, all I do is play games, watch movies and browse the interwebz

I picked up a pair of Samsung 1tb drives for under £100 on a forum.

They are fast and have enough storage for now.

As for Raiding, i am not a fan as i have found them a pain to set up. Sue they are great for server but if you have the time and patience to set it up why not.

I would say you would prob see no improvement in games at all, shorter loads yes but as for the game itself.........zip

Seagates are not quiet, go for Samsungs, i cant hear mine over the stock fan on my 4850, but my western digital ones in the server i can hear from the next room.

Picked up a 1 TB HDD WD Black Caviar today, cant hear a thing from it.

currently dont know, got the core system turned on in my new system but havent even got it up with my screen yet.
