Instead of the white background, could it be a blue. Because the white burns my eyes. I am on about the main background, behind everything.

Maybe he means the area on either side of the fixed width? (meaning not actually part of the forum itself)

BUT.....why cant I clear the posts at the top of the page anymore.I know have 12 pages of posts showing and theres only 6 i have not read
Yeah that's annoying me too. The new forum software combined with a change to the settings better tracks what threrads you've read and not. It should even retain unread threads if you move between PC's during browsing.

Unfortunately I haven't found a way to create a "clear" option yet.

It got me too. I went through every sub forum and clicked Forum Tools > Mark This Forum Read. Was quite annoyed when i noticed this link at the bottom of the main forum. It will get rid of the piles of unread posts. Mark Forums Read

The old forum remembered which posts i'd read between computers most of the time. Although it seemed to think it was funny to mark all as read if i'd not been on for a couple of days.

Yea i know.... it's not white. On a calibrated monitor its horizontal grey pinstripes like jim said.

Just noticed I need to change my avatar now

I've also added the link to the top, right navbar for your convenience :P

Welcome, Jim.

7 Unread Posts - [Clear]

Ahhh just noticed that when you post in a thread it then disappears from the new posts list.

That could prove annoying.

Other than that I think it's great... Top bombing Jimbo!

Looks the biz.

ah, that's much easier.

One other tiny gripe: could the number in "X unread posts" be a link too.

Not sure if I should laugh or cry...but yeah i'll take a look :p

Just wondering, on some forums that have the image restriction thing (click to make it bigger) it doesn't open it in a new page. Could you do this? Makes it kinda annoying closing a tab for some picture you can't really read the writing with :p

Looks good to me, as others have said the stretch is a bit of a shame, but the forums are cleaner and easier to navigate overall, so good job!
