Adware/Spyware remover

I am using Bullet Proof System Malware/Spyware remover for a while now and it does a fairly good job so far. But today I installed Lavasoft Adware/Spyware remover 2007 to try it out and surprisingly the lavaloft software detected 176 critical objects on my system and guess what all are from the Bullet Proof System software!!!???

What the hell, I don't get it... does it means that each spyware remover sees another one as a threat, just for commercial purpose or does it really means that the BPS software itself is boggy!?

Could be a dodgy Malware/Spyware remover program? Or basically it's a very unheard of program and it's considered as risky? I've never heard of it tbh, but I always use trusted programs like ad-aware and spybot...

ok then I am probably going to ditch BPS and use Ad-aware instead. Btw I read that Ad-aware 2007 is not vista ready, anyone tried it in vista, working? not working?

Same here, Ad-aware and spybot FTW!

That's also what I use :)

I only get 1 tracking cookie every week or so as I have firefox locked down tho :)

Well I finally went to buy Webroot SpySweeper, vista ready and rated number one Spyware/malware remover. BPS was indeed one of the poorest spyware remover...
