Advice on Cooling for CPU

Hello all. I'll keep this short and simple, I'm currently running a intel i7-920 on a ASrock x58 Extreme motherboard inside a Cooler Master HAF X case. For a long time now my air heatsink has been nothing but a problem, fan's continually dying, etc... even though i'm very good bout cleaning dust filters, the case itself, etc...

Basically, I wanna move to a AIO Water Cooling Solution for my CPU so I can push it to #'s in the 3.5Ghz area (Standard is 2.67 Ghz). Any recommendations on a good AIO Water Cooler that might achieve these #'s with possibly headway for even more? Not looking to do a Water cooling Kit, just a AIO.

Get a h100 you will be able to get the 920 to 4.0 - 4.3 on that, with acceptable temps and noise levels. I had the h60 with 4.0GHz overclock on my 920. - idles were around 40, load 80 with push/pull IIRC

What budget?

H100i is the one that will give you the best cooling and still allow you to run silent mode - also 200x20 will easily be doable if you learn how to overclock our way ;)

Re:

Apologies for the slow replies, and I apologize for not including a budget. I'd honestly love to keep it in the $60-80 Range.. i know the H100i is not in that, but if its truly worth it I could go that direction. Honestly atm I'm only running at 2.8 Ghz, I know for the games I play, mostly MMORPG's like WoW/GW2/FFXIV CPU is a big push on performance.

I'm a novice at OCing honestly... which is why I'd like to get to around 3.5 - 3.6 mostly cause I'm only gonna have forums/etc... to learn my way, so I wanna be safe hehe. Idk, H100i might be possible, but if I can go less expensive and just get to where I am aiming, I'd like to go that direction.

I had a few people in the past mention the Seidon 120XL? Idk if CM does a good job honestly with their AIO's, just curious, their V6GT, which I currently have atm, has not impressed me because I've gone through 4 fans with it... why I gave up OCing with it

Just cant afford a full kit atm, on a pretty tight budget that I honestly would like not to break, know its not optimal but its the situation i'm in.

i know you said AIO watercooling, but imo the single rad ones are not worth it and h100i might be a bit out of your budged, so what about a really good heatsink like the noctua nh-d14? that should be under $80

Quite honestly, if the H100i is out of your budget currently, I'd suggest that you stick with what you have and save up.

The H100i is basically as good as the AIOs get (speaking as a current owner of one).

Custom water, of course, has better performance, but is a lot more expensive in the short term.
