advice needed to building intel based gaming system

as use all read my thread earlier,well,theres a change of heart i might indeed go for an intel based gaming system now,i have cancled my order for the AMD Parts and now look for decent advice....

Okay so heres what i want to know,i have a budget of $3500 Australian and im looking at building the best intel based gaming system with the current amount i have to spend,what would use recommend as the complete gaming machine package with my current budget and btw i want to run Quadcore CPU.

Does the 3000 need to cover everything - case, keyboard, mouse, MONITOR, plus the obvious (mobo, proccy etc?)

I'll have a look as I am not familiar with ozzy prices...

Edit: Also, what size monitor will you be gaming on? As in what resolution?

With that price you should go with a quad honestly. Your chouice though. By everything, do you mean LCD, mouse, keyboard and the works too?

HMMM lol ok 6600 will do then. Hey peeves wanna help this guy out? I could do alot with 3gs over here in the US but im not sure about over there.

Oh yes, quads get a price cut to $266 USD iirc? c2d's won't see any savings though...

MONITOR: LG L226wtq -bf 22" 3000:1, 2ms.

POWER SUPPLY: OCZ PSU 850w

TOWER: Antec 900 Series ATX Case

SPEAKERS: Logitech X530 5.1 Speakers(cheap stuff, but fits the Budget lol)

KEYBOARD AND MOUSE: Logitech Ex110 Keyboard & Mouse

CD/DVD ROM:Pioneer Sata (black) DVD+- R/W

that fits the Budget exactly just Under $3500, thats got to be an ultimate gaming machine certainly now?

Get a P35 if not going to use SLI, and get the Logitech X-540s, the remote and matrix mode makes a world of difference.

Vader ur Missing my $3500 budget lol, atm with all the specs i just gave its $3411

so Unless there gna fit in with the budget, id go for it, as for the P35...na im deffinately gna go for SLI thanks anyways...but it wuld come in Handy later on i think.

il see how Much the logitech x-540 is anyways...

X-540s aren't expensive, here in the stated they're only about $20 more. Trust me, you want the matrix feature for media files that don't have 5.1 automatically.

vader just checked, yep your right, cheers for that, iv added it to the List its only $30 more, fits in Perfectly.
