Advice GPU upgrade

This doesn't have to be accurate, just a rough estimation, but I was wondering what sort of fps rise I would get, over all, by upgrading my GTX560 to the 7870?

The reason I ask is I'm quite conflicted about spending £190 on something that may only give me an extra 10 fps, give or take.

So to calculate the mean and get a rough estimation, I've added up the fps difference between the two card comparisons, selecting the resolutions closest to the one I use, then divided that answer by the amount of sums I added up.

Make sense? Are there massive flaws in my massively flawed logic!? The answer I got sounds about right, and if my calculations are correct, then I think I'll invest. A second opinion from some braniac would be nice though.

seems silly to not bench at 1920*1080 which is what a lot of people use :/

but what you wrote is what you would do to get an average FPS increase

I would get a GTX660 if I were you. Or wait for GTX760. Anyway, Kepler is a good overclocker. I am a vBIOS modder. :)

Nvidia is better than AMD on BF3 for example
