Advice 8800 gtx instead of my 8800 gts 320mb

hi guys im buying a new video card soon. i currently have a leadteak 8800 gts 320mb and im stuggling for decent fps in some new games lost planet direct x10 is a bit of a struggle and on medium settings i get 40 -45 and with a lot of action of the screen down to about 17 fps. will buying a new albatron gtx make a big improvement.

will i see i big improvement with the new albatron gtx

Not really worth it atm.. Ide say hold out for the 9800.. it sholdnt be long before thats announced and then out, And its supposed to be somewhat of a beast.

I cannot see the point in spending soooo much for a few more FPS.
