as always i was browsing trough the steam store and came across this. Fast and Furious Showdown, and i admit i was a bit excited at the moment. so i decided to check out the gameplay on youtube and this is what i found.

So this is my rant, well because i love ranting about shit but anyways, this game is total utter CRAP and it was released two days ago. the best part is that it costs 40eu on steam (£35). i mean what the f! if it was like 1.99 on the play store it would make soooooo much more sense. what an f'ed up world we live in :huh:

I am in need of another racing game, but after seeing this I think ill stick with Burnout Paradise, F1 99/02 and Tricky Truck...

The money wasted here could have been put towards developing CoD Ghosts a little more.

My eyes they burn. Seriously that looks like a need for speed game from like 6 years ago. Hell thats even an insult to nfs.

Ive seen free racing games that look better than that and they want 40e fuck right off.

Well, the original Black Ops is still 60€ on Steam and that game is now more than two and a half years old. I'd expect nothing less from a greedy publisher such as Activision.

Another shitty licence cash in by Activision (after the shitty Walking Dead game earlier in the year) I don't know why they even bother.

On a side note, if you want to talk about shitty games why not and come and do it in the shiny new OC3D Aftershock gaming section of the forum, we don't bite , and the more that join in the building of this community the better.

C'mon guys, it was developed by Firebrand games (link). What else would you expect from a company who've made (bar Dirt 2) absolute crap. They have such 'gems' to their name as Cars 2: the video game and Spongebob's Boating Bash.

It is a shame that Fast and Furious as a whole will always be confined to movie games as if it was done properly it would be an excellent replacement to the sheer bum that is most of the Need For Speed games nowadays.
