acrylic sourcing

hello dudes. i will be making a case for my fig myself and want to use acrylic. i was speaking to one of my dads friends that works in a plastics manufacturing plant and he told me that its was over £200 per square metre and i just about filled my pants. how much does clear acryl cost and where do i get it that the seller isnt bending me over the table and having his way with my wallet i need about 1500mm x 1000mm to be safe

Eventhough we have to remember; different materials (plastics), different uses. I still am in love with polycarbonate especially considering the prices.
