A Build For A Friend

First of all, happy new year ;)

So my friend wants to get into PC gaming and, of course, I'll be happy to help him. The thing is that I'm having a bit of trouble thinking up a budget build. So lets get to it.

Needs:

I'd like if this PC could play games like Battlefield 4, CoD AW, and other multiplayer games at 60 fps at medium settings (low in extreme cases).

Budget:

This is where things get a little vague, because he's not got a clear budget in mind, so I'm looking for the cheapest possible build that will meet his needs.

Don't worry about the OS, mouse, and keyboard but I'd appreciate some help finding a monitor.

If it matters, he's located in the Netherlands and will probably be ordering off azerty.nl

Thanks for the help guys ;)

Luckily, I was just working on these specific build guides threads... :p

And of course you can toss in anything you like, like more RAM or an SSD if the budget allows it :)

The FX6300 will beat the Pentium K in Battlefield because more core=more better because battlefield can use up to 18 threads.

However the 860K is something like a middle ground, the A88x platform is newer etc etc.
The AM3+ would make sense if your buddy needs the pc for his job and needs multitasking or rendering stuff. The 8xxx series of the FX chips are still great for video editing.

Over here the MX100s tend to be some of the cheapest SSDs around while being up there with the Samsung 840s and stuff like that.
