Two versions of the 9800 GX2 have been listed on a site in Europe. Does this mean we can expect announcements regarding the release soon?

Fud clocked the EVGA one quite well too, maybe they aren't as much of a rip off after all, but even so, too expensive for me

The graphic is slightly incorrect. It should read "higher = better performance @ 3dmark06". I don`t play 3dmark06.
I`m not prepared to go with 3dmark06 scores if I`m honest. It`s too out of date and not representable enough. I would go for gaming benchmarkers for newer games, but even then we talk of a small number of fps from 8800gt to 3870x2 (which I`d have to have another reason in addition to buy cos I don`t swing the ati way, that`s just personal).
Think in that same list, the 9800gtx would break in at around 15k - and u`d ask yourself if it`s worth it.

Exactly. The 9600GT performs the same as a 8800GT, but overclocks further, and has that little pcie overclock thingy.
Best purchase still looks like a 8800Ultra to me.
