Hi everyone.

I got my 970 this week and i have been trying to achieve a stable over-clock of 4.2. GHz, but i cant get it stable in windows. here are my settings:

Ratio:24

Qpi:36

Uncore:17

Bclk:175

Memory multiplier:8

Volts

Cpu:1.35

Qpi/vtt: 1.56

Dram: 1.64

My system: Gigabyte EX58 GA Extreme

Core I 970

Dominator Ram 1600mhz (12GB)

ATI Fire GL

Is there any other settings that I can change to gain stability?

Thanks in advance

Khalid.

Well tghe settings above give a Overclock of 4.37GHz (BCLK x Ratio) Try and get the BCLK to 200 with a x22 Multi a 200 base usualy provides the most stable OC's the volts seem fine, that should be plenty for the OC u are tryin to achive

you may want to give your QPI/VTT a little nudge up.

For 1600mhz? No he doesnt Id said that too high already for 1600!

You deffo want to drop the multi and up the BCLK to 200 dude. Make sure your ram is set to 1600 when you do

thanks for the reply guys. I could never get the ram to run at its default 1600mhz, it always crashes before windows logs in??? is there any other setting I need to alter???
