8800 cooling!

I want a new heatsink and fan for the 8800GTS..

The stock fan blows out hot air onto my W/c Rad.

This then warms the rad up (hotter than me) and so hotter CPU temps.

Any good ones about? Which suck in?

well if i recall correctly you rad is external and so any cooler will be blowing onto it. and if not then you will have the heat inside your case, which is just as crap. if i were you i would put your 8800 under water ( budget allowing )

what are ur temps for the 8800?

i have just thought to myself, i want my comp to be quiet and temps dont matter that much because mine were in acceptable range, i saw dun worry about it too much

Under water could be sweet.. Depending on expense.

If prices out of my strech.. I don't mind more heat in the case seeing as I have a monster fan exhusting it over moi.. ;)

Oh the temps are fine..

I am worried about the CPU temps!

Becasue the card pushes out onto the rad.. :)

Yeah!

Its just higher than before the 8800.

I want the best perforamance form my cooling.. (don't care about anything apart from cold cold cold) :worship:

i meant for sleeping :P

im sure u can put ur WC rig onto its highest settings and it would lower ur temps, unless it is now

for ur prob, there arn't many coolers for those cards, u could WC it, but that would increase ur cpu temps, cuz the water is being used on the gpu

here is a cheezy, but might work way of fixing ur problem, u can put something in the back to re-direct the air coming out of ur 8800 down or away from the radiator

AquaPC stuff isn't cheap, badly designed or anything else.

It's actually awesome especially for those who love smaller bore w/c
