For me it would be be between the G510 and the Blackwidow, I would probably go for the G510 because I prefer the look of it but I believe that the Blackwidow is a better keyboard

Forget Razer, their build quality is terrible. The K60 is awesome, but for £10 more you can have the K90 which has backlighting and 18 macro buttons with 3 memory banks (so technically 54 macros). The Steelseries 6Gv2 is also awesome, and so is the Roccat Isku. So i'd say the K90, 6Gv2 or the Isku. I have a K90 myself and it is perfect

Well, when I have the money, I'm going to be investing in a K90. I'm a FPS guy myself, but it's the backlight that sold it to me!

^ This guy seems to know what he's talking about, I was just going by what a mate of mine said :L

Haha, thanks. I say to avoid Razer because the 2 or 3 (can't quite remember how many) Razer products i've owned in the past have failed on me early on in their lives, and a friend of mine had one of those Razer Xbox 360 controllers, that failed on him in about 2 months time or so, hence why i tell people to stay away from them. Obviously there will be people out there like your friend who have had a good experience with Razer, but i haven't so i couldn't possibly recommend them.

Oh, and as for the Logitech i haven't heard much about it so i can't comment on that one

I have a k90. I have yet to use a macro key and i don know if i ever will but one thing i am sure of is that this is the best keyboard i have used in my life. Not only does it look and feel great. It sounds great. Like what a keyboard does in the movies like samuel l in jurassic park. That is how i feel when using this keyboard. LIKE SAMUEL L JACKSON

Logitech build quality is usually very good (my G15 has lasted me 4 years and it's still going), but it's not a mechanical keyboard so a Corsair K90 would be the way to go.

Razer.. haven't had great experiences with them. Their products look and feel a bit plasticky and cheap to me. My little brother has a BlackWidow Ultimate and I don't like it one bit.

First of all, at £80 you should be looking at a mechanical keyboard.

Secondly the Razer BlackWidow does not have terrible build quality (mine has had 4 cups of coffee spilt all over it and still works a charm).

The K60 is aimed at FPS players and there are a few differences compared with the K90 to try and benefit them. I do not know if they are actually useful or if they are just a gimmick, you'll have to have a search around on YouTube or something.

The K90 is great and if you actually want backlighting get that one. Overclockers uk were also doing the K90 cheaper than the K60.

I have both the G510 and the Razer black widow. I love the mechanical feel of the black widow, but I need the back lighting which is on the G510

The media keys on the G510 are far superior compared to the black widow as well.

I love my K60 before this I had a logitech G510 I didn't like hwo the keys felt, personally I think it looks better then the Razer keyboard.

If you don't need macro keys and could save money on a keyboard by going for the K60 I would say go for it. I personally like the keys you can change, especially for numbers I like this. Though the K90 is backlight, if thats a big thing for you go with that. That is what I would recommend. ^^

Whats the G510 like mate as you have it and been using it could you recommend it?? Have you experienced any drawbacks cos im really liking the look of it.

Cheers

I have had the G510 for 9 months or so and it has been very good so far. The keys do feel a little "soft" similar to how the keys feel on laptops. Although the keyboard is very responsive and is a joy to type with imo.

The backlighting is not bright by any standard and by that I mean that the lighting is only visible through the laser etched keys and it doesn't bleed through the edges like it does on other keyboards. There is no option to adjust the brightness of the backlighting, but you can change the colour. I also like the fact that there are media keys on the right hand side of the keyboard (above the numpad) so you can pause, forward, rewind, etc any media you happen to be playing.

I haven't used a single macro key since I got it since I mainly play fps games, lol. Nonetheless it would still be a good buy even if you don't utilize the macro keys. I haven't used a mechanical keyboard and I've heard that the keys are more "tactile," which may be a better fit for you if you don't like the feel of soft/mushy keys.
