I have a copy of win 8.1 and win 7 ultimate, I was wondering what os should I use for my steam box ?
what ever os I use I will turning off all its features there will be nothing on the os not even a web browser just steam, I will have it set up so when the pc boot it will go directly into steam.
I have done this with a copy of windows 8 but it was a bit flakey with either blank screens or just stuck on boot mind you this was when 8 was first released. I haven tried it since than with either os mostly due to not having a pc.
I have googled for the answer but most of the tuts are a bit old and I dont get much info using a phone for my computing needs.
What ever os I dont use will go into my other pc with duel boot with linux (more for editing and downloads ect ect)
