7970 or GTX CARD?

You should be good with the 5970 for a long time, as Seumas said.

I got a sapphire 7950 got 35203 vantage gpu Perfromance score. BF3 looks awesome ya cant go wrong with either , sapphires cooling is awesome. I actually bricked it with sapphire bios's from techpowerup but got it going with the AMD 925mhz core one i did overclock it to 1100/1400 for that score only thing i changed was the power + 20%.

I have one of these and they are quiet, I run my clocks at 1050/1500 and it is on eyefinity with 3 24" LED Monitors. Awesome Card, I ran 2 6970's in crossfireX before I changed to a single 7970.... no regrets here at all, cooler, quieter and still kicking out some amazing eye candy and frame rates.

Average 59 FPS, Minimum 54FPS on F1 2012 with ultra Preset and 4f8xeqaa !
