hello Guys

I have done an overclock on my 6850K,
I got it to 4.3 GHZ with 1.325 volt on the vcore, tried 1.3 but it failed Adia 64 after 3 hours and 24 miniutes.
VVCIN on 2.1 volt
Ring Voltage at 1.1
And then XMP 2.0 on the mem 2400 MHZ DDR Hyper-X with 1.2 volt.

The Quastion that comes to mind is, have i forgot an voltage, because its feels stable, but is kinda noob on x99 oc.

Also my temps is fine avg around 55-65 C on my custom watercooling with an spike to 80 seams like an random spike that Adia 64 does not see but hwmon does.

Do it sound right or have i done something wrong?

I think that VCCIN is a bit high @ 2.1v.. Did you try lower 1.85 or 1.95v?

By Asus there was a "rule" cpuvid + 0.55v offset = VCCIN.. 1.325+0.55 = 1.875. Also use at least 75% LLC.

btw what's your ring frequency, stock or OC'ed too?

Did you manually set that VCCIN? It really doesnt need to be or should be that high.

Sounds like auto volts raging it to me

Yeah i also think its to high, but i have an hard time to find out, what the VCCIN is doing, more what does the voltage here control?
I did disable the oc again, becuase i was begning to get cut out in audio.
