Hey Jim maybe you could use one of these to increase the airflow http://www.coolpc.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=127_43&products_id=173 They do look a bit poxy though, although you may like them. Plus they aren't going to require any case mods.

Cheers PV, looks like it might be an option. I'm gonna see how much a custom window will cost to make as well. :D

Btw, did the ear sticks do the trick? :D

Yeah i can hear perfectly now ;) - Seriously tho, they did a great job in cleaning the goop off my 6800 GPU's (along with that cleaner you recommended) :D

Yep np mate, like you said on msn XMS, you should buy the mesh grill and give it the ol' PV anodised effect. That'd be an honour, to have the Boss use your guide to make his rig even more spanky than it already is. :worship: :worship:

Glad the ear sticks and secret potion worked a treat mate. Ear sticks are great, they soak up so much of the liquified goo, without leaving any residue, creating static charge but allowing superb handling by the user.

LOL Liquid Metal (mercury)

Or see my post above with the slot fans. :D;)

naw liuid metal cooelrs use some gallimum compound mercury is too toxic

Jim how this??? add an extra fan to your case... use a 'holesaw' for tidyness u could add a 120mm blowfan @ top of case or inlet @ side of case or try to fit an extra fan on the back of your case (cut required holes)

if u cut a side blowhole use a nice alu air filter mesh to cover up ur work

hole saws come inmost sizes (inc 80,92 and 120mm u can even get 160mm ones ... get a big fan in there)

Air filter

For the holesaw ..hire from hss or buy one on ebay (bout £5)

//holesaws are great as they leave nomarkd (cept the hole) and create a perfect hole ... and there are peeps toiling with dremels trying to do this//

Cheers for that Joe, i might give it a go. I've seen somewhere i can get a replacment window if i cock it up.

Those alu filters are pretty funky...I used to use them in my LANBOY, but now my stacker has filters in the front anyhoo...so I have two just sorta sitting around :D
