600 C "Bank Breaker"

BBG280

New member
I've decided to build myself a new rig in a Corsair 600C case. This one will be with me for a while. All of the parts haven't arrived yet but I'll list the specs and post pics as I progress. Some parts are from my current build such as my GPU and the watercooling set up. Also the PSU, ssd's and hdd will be reused.

Specs:
Case: Corsair 600 C
Mobo: EVGA X99 FTW
CPU: i7 5930K
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinums 4x4 GB 3000mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 FTW w/ EK Acetal waterblock with Nickel backplate. From my current build.
SSD's: 2x Samsung 850 EVO's 500GB, 1x Intel 750 NVMe w/EK waterblock
HDD: Western Digital Black 2 TB
PSU: Corsair RM850

Waiting on the waterblock for the Intel 750 and some more sleeving.

Nice healthy spec to be fair fella. As I'm sure a few people will say, the water block on the 750 is pointless ..... But I must admit I would do it too :p
Look forward to seeing the build

Here's some eycandy

Sorry I bailed on the pics earlier, I had to take my son to get his wisdom teeth out. Nerd p0rn incoming!
EVGA X99 FTW, 5930K, and those ever so sexy Dominator Platinums!

Updates

I have more to show! Hope you all like it. Stipped off the stock heatsink on the Intel 750. Unfortunately I didn't get a pic of it by itself with the waterblock installed.

Water cooling

Pics of the loop going in. Two radiators in the system, both Alphacool 30 mm thick. A 240 in front and a 280 in the bottom. Corsair SP120 and 140 fans. Rings painted black.

Filling and leak testing done

Filled the loop and leak tested. I only had one leak at a fitting on the pump. Pulled the fitting and replaced the o-ring and all was fine.

On to cable management

Made all of the wires for this one. It was rough. The sata power cable was the most challenging. Four connections, 3 flat and 1 right angle. There are 3 mounts for 2.5" drives behind the motherboard. I only needed 2 of them. The are 2 3.5" mounts in the top of the case. I used one under my pump/res. Took out the one in the middle to have room for water lines and pci-e cables. Used Telios black and carbon fiber sleeve from Mainframe Customs.
