5820k Overclocking Tips

Hi Guys ,

Can someone please give me a rough guide on any specifics regarding overclocking my 5820k


Settings :

CPU Ratio x40 ( 4ghz)
Intel turbo boost disabled
Cpu core voltage 1.101v
XMP Enabled ddr4 2666mhz

* This is just a base line setting


Just basic settings , i seem to find either to much complicated information or not enough ,

If someone could please help regarding there experience and any specific voltage or settings i should enable / disable that would help

Im trying to aim for 4-4.5 ghz

You can use the basics from this dude. Handing out settings is a pretty n0000b way of doing things tbh.

Our way of doing things is teaching you how to get the best from your system because they can be wildly different even with the same specs.

My 2 Haswell-E systems are identical builds but when it comes to overclocking they are as different as chalk and cheese.

As Tom said above to start with it is best to follow the guide to learn the ropes.
