i know this isn't exactly PC related but since its a pc component im hoping someone could help me.
i have had this car stereo for a number of years which has been in a couple of cars now and the cooling fan has died [alpine INA-W910] the rear fan appears to be 40mm so i was thinking of replacing it with a regular PC fan?
i can't find alot of info about the stereo internals but it doesnt seem to be very difficult to pop it open and its out of warrenty by a fair few years so its worth it to save it!
question is, what fan would be best for this? i was thinking a noctua NF-A4X10 [has to be 10mm thick] but at only 5cfm it seems very low don't mind spending abit more for something that will last, but also need it to do a decent job with summer just around the corner
noise isn't really an issue as its a diesel so engine / fan noise will probably drown out anything apart from the highest CFM deltas
