3dmark Time Spy DX 12 Bench.

Just a quick run, I'll upload more once I'm into the full swing of things.. CPU and RAM need sorting too. I'm hoping for much higher scores.

OK same run at same clocks 5963 oddly.

I'm noticing an odd stutter on the first test a few seconds in that lasts for about 3 seconds where I get 14-16FPS. Is any one else getting this too? On the first run in this post it was longer than that, then when I ran it again I scored slightly better and it was less.

But hey, at least it runs without crashing now. I also found out my GPU does not have any coil whine at all, like I thought it did. Turns out that it's one of my sound cards that I always use when gaming with my headphones on that whines when I am stressing the GPU. Common problem apparently, but hey, at least for my £6.99 I have found out it's not the GPU :D

Run the demo before the bench and you won't get the stutter at the beginning.

Scoreboard updated.:)

Ooo I see ! yeah I bought it so I don't have to watch the demo :D but yeah I will try that because I think it's pulling my graphics score down.

Sometimes you can get quite a bit out of the memory on a 1070 but today is a bit warm for it.

Aye it's been Sahara type heat here today, had to back off the VRam as I was getting crashes, thankfully it's cooled and I've finally got around to sorting my CPU and Memory too

Here is my final score for now.

Out of curiosity, does CPU clock speed effect this benchmark much? Or at least as much as before?

Yes and no, it does change the score but it is definitely biased towards the graphics side. But can mean the difference between an average score and a great score.
