Updated the thread to add barnsley and SieB's results.

SieB, we are only using Fire Strike not extreme. this is to allow free users to participate and give cpu overclocking a larger affect on score.

When I'm home later today i'll add all my scores .

Heh true, how many places will there be, top 50? or less?

I can't afford to go down extreme cooling route, I might downclock my GPU to about 600mhz then oc to 1241mhz. that might increase my gain a bit.

How are you collating the results?

If you can, can you do something in google docs and share (Or something similar)

That way we all can see the results, and if it read only, then no-one but who you choose can edit it, this way a couple of people can help out keeping the results current.

You could get an intel Hexcore and turn off all but one core and disable hyperthreading. Then run the Physics on 3dmark11 and then turn everything back on again.

There will be a top 10 for each. perhaps 20 if we get a lot of results posted.

I doubt anyone will go extreme cooling route though, its a bit far for this.

I'd say underclocking and core disabling is cheating, i did say bone stock lol.

too bad my mobo is broken because i can get some crazy overclocks on my gpu
almost 1ghz on with windoworce x3 cooler on a gtx 570!

Sticking a desktop gtx 570 into a laptop will still count? im being serious im adding Egpu to my laptop

Now the Overclocked CPU and GPU Scores, CPU was at 4.6ghz and GPU's were with Core +195 Mem +300, I could push the cpu to 5.2ghz and I could push the GPU's higher but it's to warm in my room at the moment, currently sat at 28c ambient.

We are seeing some great results so far, well done Damien C for gaining an early lead here.

Great to see some older tech from Kaapstad, I'm surprised you still have a hd 5970 around.

RamboOC an external Laptop GPU will still count, it will be a unique one to say the least.
