3 Way Crossfire

Hey Guys, I have 3 x 7970's, MSI Lightning BE, Club3D Royalace & MSI OC edition. Catalyst recognizes all 3 cards but for me to get 3 way crossfire I have to connect my monitor to the 3rd card otherwise it only allows 2 way crossfire? Is this normal or have I done something wrong? Suggestions please

You usually have to connect the monitor to the first card. This depends on how your board lays out the row order.

So yes it sounds about right. I had to connect my monitor to the first header on my first 295 when running Quad SLI.

I have to connect to the 3rd card, thought it would have to be the first too? I am also trying to set up eyefinity but I accidentally disabled one of my monitors and can't re-enable it, any suggestions please.

You mean the bottom card in the pile? that's usually the first by deduction of how the lanes are laid out mate.

When I ran 5770 CFX that was card one.
